WHY WE STARTED THE SORORITY SISTER
We first met while working together at another company and quickly bonded over long lunches, big ideas, and a shared passion for helping young women feel confident heading into recruitment. Around the same time, Audrey’s younger sister was preparing to go through rush at Ole Miss, which made the need for a resource like this even more real. Out of those conversations and experiences, The Sorority Sister was born.
Audrey brings the perspective of a recent graduate from the University of Texas, where she went through recruitment as a freshman, served on her chapter’s recruitment team, and shared her experiences online through YouTube and TikTok videos that have now reached millions. Her passion for guiding potential new members is what inspired the heart of our courses and resources.
Kendall, an Ole Miss alumna, served as Recruitment Chair of her chapter and has remained closely plugged into sorority life through her work in the student housing industry. She has also served as an alumni advisor, giving her a unique perspective on both the active and alumni sides of recruitment. With a background in marketing, she handles much of the behind-the-scenes strategy—building the website, shaping the courses, and ensuring the resources are as practical and impactful as possible.
Together, we combined Audrey’s front-line recruitment experience with Kendall’s leadership and advisor insights to create a program that feels like having both an older sister and a recruitment coach by your side. What started as a simple idea has grown into a community of thousands of women preparing for rush with confidence, clarity, and excitement.
