How to Prep for Bama Rush 2025: University of Alabama Sorority Recruitment Schedule and Outfit Inspo
Planning for sorority recruitment at the University of Alabama this fall? You’re not alone. With more than 2,500 PNMs expected and 17 Panhellenic sororities on campus, Alabama’s formal recruitment is one of the largest—and most competitive—in the country. Preparation matters, and this guide will help you and your daughter feel ready.
Below you’ll find the official 2025 recruitment schedule, what to wear for each round, how to register, and how to get expert support along the way—from round-by-round strategy to outfit inspiration.
2025 Sorority Recruitment Dates and Deadlines at Alabama
- Recruitment Registration Deadline: July 14, 2025 at 5:00 PM CST
Registration is $375 and includes recruitment materials, t-shirts, and tech access.

- Early Move-in Fee: $180.00

After registering, PNMs are required to complete a short video introduction and any assigned modules—check the recruitment portal for due dates and instructions.
Virtual Open House
This round takes place via video and gives chapters a chance to get to know PNMs before in-person rounds begin. Your daughter will submit her video in advance, so there’s no live conversation, but it’s still an important part of the process.

What to Wear for Philanthropy Round
During this round, PNMs will wear a Panhellenic-provided T-shirt paired with elevated casual bottoms like tailored shorts, skirts, or skorts. Think comfortable, confident, and weather-appropriate — the Tuscaloosa heat and humidity are no joke!
